Dear Friend,
The purpose of First Lutheran Church is bringing people to know Jesus
Christ as their Lord and Savior, and to experience the love that Jesus
has for all people. Our members believe that the Old and New Testament
of the Bible is the inspired word of God. We are a part of the Lutheran
Church Missouri Synod. We believe that infants should be brought
to Jesus through Holy
Baptism. We frequently celebrate the
Lord's Supper in which repentant sinners receive the very body
and blood of Christ for their forgiveness, strength, and salvation.
With the arrival of our DCE (Director
of Christian Education) in 2004 our youth
have flourished. Not only are they active
amongst themselves but also within the community.
We offer a Sunday service at 10:30 a.m.
and a variety of Sunday school classes
and bible studies at 9:15 a.m. In addition, we provide many opportunities to gather
in fellowship throughout
the month.
We have the unique privilege of an outdoor ministry
available for worship and recreation with overnight accommodations
available.
