WHO
ARE WE?
Active Women with busy Schedules, Just Like You.
LWML is an International Service
Organization with Members all over the World. Our primary purpose
is to promote Mission work both internationally and here in our
own community. We do that by raising funds for international mission
work, but also by providing mission outreach events for our own
church and neighborhood.
Our
second purpose is to provide for the Christian growth of our members
through Devotions; Speakers; and Zone and District Workshops, Rallies,
Seminars & Special Worship Opportunities.

First
Lutheran Church Widows’ Ministry
Since December 2002, widowed women
of First Lutheran Church have met in homes to encourage one another.
Meetings are informal, and include lunch. The purpose is to
minister to one another, providing an atmosphere of love, understanding
and encouragement through social interaction.
Meetings are held on the fourth
Sunday of each month except for November due to the Thanksgiving
weekend. They will meet Sunday November 20th.
Please contact First Lutheran
Church at (423) 629-5990 for information on how to contact Nancy
